I truly enjoyed reading this book. It was a bit short but I found it very heartwarming. I too have had the privilege of knowing a dog similar to Jake. Perhaps not as mischievous but definitely sent to guide me through a difficult time in my life. Honestly, I don't know what I would have done without him. Just as described in this book, I too had an angel dog that enabled me to meet new neighbors that eventually became best friends. This book brought a lot of great memories for me. I am sure that anyone who has had the fortune to have the friendship of such a dog can identify with the story of Jake and his wonderful owners.Product details

We had an angel too - Nicky. Anyone who has loved a dog can identify with this book. Whether you've shared your home with a Chihuahua or a Great Dane, I guarantee you'll see your own angel on nearly every page.
My favorite story about Jake was the one in the snowstorm - or maybe the couch story - no, wait, it's got to be the dog hair chapter. All of us who are dog lovers will definitely recognize Margaret's frustration.
The author has done a great job in re-telling the life of a dog and his owners. I smiled all the way through it, remembering Nicky and helping Margaret and her husband enjoy Jake all over again.
